Patriot Empowerment Institute (PEI) Partners with Clearspeed to Support Columbia University School of General Studies Student Veterans

The Application Launchpad Events Series is intended for GS premeds (Postbacs and undergrads) who have recently submitted an internal application toward qualifying for committee support this summer for the Entering Class of 2026.

GS peer advisors host weekly meetings and guide conversations with the goal of helping you stay focused on academics, helping you remember that someone is looking out for you, and holding you accountable to the goals you set for yourself.

Every student is encouraged to complete the 2025 GS Student Survey, which provides an important opportunity for students to share their experiences at GS. This input is a valued and essential part of the School's efforts to improve the student experience and plan for the future. Earlier today, Dean Rosen-Metsch emailed the student body to ask for their participation.

To apply for the GS Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, students must submit their application by April 1st and, if a U.S. Citizen or Eligible Noncitizen, also submit their FAFSA.

Students are invited to visit the GS Wellbeing Team, in-person, during the wellness walk-in hours.

Extended Application Deadline: Wed., Feb. 5

Calling all proud GSers!  We are looking for survey ambassadors to assist in promoting the upcoming GS Student Survey--which opens on Monday, February 10--so all student voices are heard.

The Campus Collaborative Fund (CCF) invites you to share your ideas to strengthen our sense of community as a University.
