Intrapreneurial Leadership Fellows Program

The Intrapreneurial Leadership Fellows Program is a unique opportunity for women student veterans and service members at the Columbia School of General Studies and Barnard College students to connect across personal and professional experiences, and develop the skills, confidence, and relationships they need to lead change in their post-undergraduate lives.

The School of General Studies is seeking students to work as social media ambassadors, helping create high-quality, creative content for GS's social media channels, including the Postbac Premed Program and International Dual Degree Programs, as well as representing the School on ZeeMee, the peer-to-peer engagement app for the college journey.

The GS Office of Admissions and the University Visitors Center are looking for admissions ambassadors/tour guides to represent GS from our Dual Degree Programs with Sciences Po, Tel Aviv University, and Trinity College Dublin, as well as the Postbac Premed Program and the main undergraduate degree program.

Application Deadline: Fri., Sept. 16

Postbac 101 is a twice-weekly workshop series exploring best practices and common pitfalls of applicants to medical school and other health programs. It is open to all GS students, but is geared toward those who are in their first term and/or who are new to the Postbac Premed Program or undergraduate premed process at GS.

Students are welcome to attend as many sessions as needed.

The Office of Student Life at GS is hiring two student assistants for the 2022-2023 academic year. Student assistants will support the work of the team including program management and logistics, as well as event support and advertising.

Students are invited to join the Getting Things Done Group (GTD) which will assist students with tips and techniques to learn ways to use time more effectively and efficiently. The group will meet Fridays from 12 - 1 p.m.

The GS Prehealth Network Program is designed for Postbac Premed and prehealth undergraduate students at the Columbia University School of General Studies who self-identify as underrepresented in medicine.

Students are invited to apply for chief volunteer positions for Columbia’s 2023 Medical School Fair.

Columbia Health Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) are offering a broad diversity of virtual support spaces* for Morningside and Manhattanville students** this academic year. These interactive, online spaces are a great option for you and your fellow students to connect with peers on a shared topic of concern in sessions guided and facilitated by CPS providers. 

In addition, CPS is resuming in-person support groups. 

Hosted by the Center for Justice in partnership with Columbia World Projects, the Justice Ambassadors Film Screening event will highlight the inspiration behind the Justice Ambassadors Youth Council, developed by Jarrell Daniels '22GS, and its desired impact.
