Fall Admission
Application Open: December 1
Priority Early Action Deadline*: January 15
Early Action Deadline*: March 1
Regular Decision Deadline: May 15
*International applicants in need of an F1 student visa are encouraged to apply by the Early Action Deadline.
Spring Admission
Application Open: August 1
Priority Early Action Deadline*: September 1
Early Action Deadline*: October 1
Regular Decision Deadline: November 1

Admissions Decisions
While the Office of Admissions makes decisions on a rolling basis and attempts to make decisions within six to eight weeks of the relevant deadline after receiving a complete application, please note that the School of General Studies begins releasing admissions decisions in March for the fall term, and in October for the spring term. All applications received after the final deadlines will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Fall Admission
- Early Action Applications that have all their supporting documents submitted by January 20 will be considered part of the Priority Early Action pool and can expect an admissions decision by March 1. If supporting documents are submitted after January 20 but within the Early Action period, the application will receive an admissions decision by May 1.
- Early Action Applications submitted by March 1 can expect an admissions decision by May 1. Supporting documents will be accepted through March 20. If all supporting documents are not submitted by March 20, the application will become part of the Regular Decision pool.
- Regular Decision Applications are due by May 15 and supporting documents will be accepted through June 1, for a decision by early July.
Spring Admission
- Early Action Applications that have all their supporting documents submitted by September 7 will be considered part of the Priority Early Action pool and can expect an admissions decision by October 1. If supporting documents are submitted after September 7 but within the Early Action period, the application will receive an admissions decision by November 15.
- Early Action Applications submitted by October 1 can expect an admissions decision by November 15. Supporting documents will be accepted through October 20. If all supporting documents are not submitted by October 20in October, the application will become part of the Regular Decision pool.
- Regular Decision Applications are due by November 1 and supporting documents will be accepted through November 20, for a decision by early December.
