How do you decide where to apply to medical school? What are the do’s and don’ts of deciding? What are some helpful resources?

After comparing the external application process to the internal application process, we will explain how the external application is structured, how its components are interconnected, and the timeline for completing the application process.

March 26: VI Tell Me About Yourself (On Interviewing)

This session will cover medical school interviews, including their role in the application process, expectations, formats, handling tricky questions, and tips for professional presentation, along with resources to help you prepare.

April 9, 2025: VII Traffic Rules & Professionalism

Each year, more than 50,000 individuals embark on the journey to medical school. But what are the rules of the road? How should applicants conduct themselves along the way? The expectations of medical schools are outlined in the AAMC's "traffic rules," and this session will provide an introduction to them.

April 23, 2025: Application Launchpad VIII: Application Year Panel

GS Postbac and undergraduate premed students are invited to learn more about the application and glide year experience from a panel of their peers. Students planning to apply to medical, dental, or veterinary school in summer 2025 are especially encouraged to attend, but all are welcome.
