Paul Yates '05GS, '08BUS elected to the Columbia Alumni Association Board

Two-time Columbia alumnus Paul Yates '05GS '08BUS has been elected to his first term on the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) board.

Paul Yates '05GS '08BUS  is one of the nine board members recently elected by The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) to their first term. 

Yates is the CFO of Altavian Inc. which is an engineering firm specializing in small unmanned aircraft systems that collect data intelligence across defence, civil, and commercial environments. Yates is also the Founder and CEO of Cogent Risk which provides valuation and risk planning services to venture capital and private equity firms. Prior to earning a BA in Economics from Columbia in 2005, Yates served in the United States Naval Special Warfare Command from 1994-2002 as part of that Command’s Special Boat Teams. He has made significant contributions to both the GS and Columbia community, having co-founded the U.S. Military Veterans of Columbia University in 2011 and remaining active in organizations such as the GSAA Recent Alumni Leadership Committee (RALC), the GS Leadership Volunteer Committee, and the GS Reunion Committee.
