This year, the first cohort of 21 students from the Trinity-Columbia Dual BA Program graduated alongside their peers at GS Class Day. Inaugurated in November 2017, the Program offers students an international educational experience spanning two continents and cosmopolitan cities.

All personnel and administrative functions located in Lewisohn Hall have been temporarily relocated to Uris Hall for the period from May 23, 2022 through August 19, 2022.

The Columbia University Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program celebrated Class Day on Friday, May 13 in Low Memorial Library. Faculty, administrators, fellow students, friends, and family honored the Classes of 2022, 2021, and 2020 for completing this important step on their journey to medical school and beyond.

On Friday, May 13, 53 GS seniors were inducted into the New York Delta Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. The ceremony, which took place at Faculty House on the Columbia Morningside Campus, included speeches by PBK Chapter President Patricia G. Lindemann, Vice President Dean Lisa Rosen-Metsch, and Secretary Victoria Rosner.

This year’s speaker representing the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 is Alison (Ali) Block. The honoree was selected by a special committee to address their peers at the 2022 GS Class Day ceremony, speaking to the unique experiences that the Classes of 2020 and 2021 shared as they worked to overcome the challenges of finding success and graduating during the pandemic.
