November 15, 2017

Jill Galas Hickey has extensive experience in higher education, with prior roles in residential life, career education, and alumni relations. Her most recent work has been focused on alumni relations and development, serving as the director of annual giving at the School of Engineering and Applied Science. Prior to that position, she was the senior director of alumni relations in Columbia’s Office of Alumni and Development, where she was an essential part of the GS alumni team.

“Jill’s role represents the first step in a significant reorganization of our alumni relations and development functions designed to drive better and more productive collaboration and engagement, and we are very excited that she will be taking the lead role in stewarding the next evolution of our alumni organization,” Curtis Rodgers, Vice Dean, said.

In her role at GS as associate dean for development and alumni relations, Jill will work to develop new and creative ways to sustain and expand the significant success GS has achieved building strong relationships with our alumni and helping them to engage with the School, its students, and the wider University alumni community.
