Each fall, Columbia GS welcomes students back to campus with the Welcome Back, GS event series. Guided by this year’s theme of curiosity, kindness, and community, the series celebrates the start of a new academic year while highlighting the values that shape the GS experience. Throughout September, students can connect with peers and alumni at a variety of social gatherings, explore Columbia’s wide range of resources, and build meaningful relationships that strengthen the vibrant, supportive community that GS is known for.
The series kicks off during the first week of classes with the FLI School Supply Giveaway and a special ice cream social hosted by Dean Rosen-Metsch during the Welcome Back, GS kickoff event in the lounge.
More events will be added in the coming days, so keep an eye on the weekly GS newsletters for the most recent additions!
All programs, events, and groups are open to all GS students irrespective of identity or sex.
