For the eleventh year in a row, the School of General Studies is a major sponsor in the Veterans Day Parade. As a part of the 2019 sponsorship, all Columbia student- and alumni-veterans and all GS students and alumni are invited to participate in the Veterans Day activities by riding on or walking beside the parade float. Additional information will be sent to registrants detailing appropriate attire.
Tickets for the 2020 Military Ball will be launched at the Veterans Appreciation Lunch on Fri., Nov. 8 at Mel’s Burger Bar and will officially go on sale at 2 p.m. that day with a 50% student discount through 2019.
The Columbia University Military Ball is hosted by the School of General Studies, the Columbia University Center for Veteran Transition and Integration, Columbia Veterans, and the U.S. Military Veterans of Columbia University.
