Units Now Available at 99 Claremont

Incoming and continuing students can apply to live in 99 Claremont Avenue, one of Columbia Residential's newest housing options, dedicated to Columbia GS students.

Columbia GS students are invited to experience a modern residential community conveniently located near Columbia’s Morningside and Manhattanville campuses. 99 Claremont Avenue offers contemporary amenities, welcoming community spaces, and a variety of housing options reserved only for GS students.

Highlights Include:

  • Modern, fully furnished rooms
  • Comfortable study and lounge spaces on every floor
  • Shared pantry spaces and a large communal kitchen
  • A roof deck featuring views of campus, the Hudson River, and the surrounding neighborhood
  • On-site laundry and fitness facilities
  • Secure building access
  • Opportunities to connect with fellow GS students

Available Housing Options:

  • Private/single rooms
  • Shared/double rooms

Private rooms at 99 Claremont Avenue are offered through Gender Neutral Housing. Students interested in selecting a private room must indicate their preference for Gender Neutral Housing in their housing application.

Shared/double rooms are designated as single-gender housing, meaning roommates will be assigned with students of the same gender.

To view and select available private rooms during housing selection, students must opt into Gender Neutral Housing. To confirm or update your preference:

  1. Log in to the Housing Portal.
  2. Select Tenant Profile, then Tenant.
  3. Confirm your Gender Neutral Housing preference.
  4. Save your changes.

Once you have opted into Gender Neutral Housing, eligible private-room options at 99 Claremont Avenue will become available for selection.
