These students were chosen from a pool of more than 6,300 applicants nationwide, and approximately 1,870 outstanding students were offered awards ranging from $2,500-$8,000 to study or intern abroad.
"I am extremely pleased that such a high percentage of GS students were represented among the recipients of this competitive award. The additional funding provided by the Gilman International Scholarship Program will allow these deserving students to attend various summer study abroad programs," Senior Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Study Abroad Vanessa Karahalios said.
