Roar With Pride at Columbia Homecoming Weekend!

Celebrate with fellow GSers and show your Columbia pride on October 18.

October 02, 2025

Mark your calendars: October 18 is Columbia University Family Days and Homecoming Weekend!

The Columbia GS Development and Alumni Relations team is excited to welcome alumni, students, and families back to campus for a packed weekend of events and celebrations.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to campus in a few weeks,” said Izabela Rutkowski, GS Director of Alumni Relations. “Homecoming is a great chance to reconnect, make memories, and feel the energy of our incredible GS community!”

The festivities kick off with the Dean's Breakfast and Faculty Lecture For Families of GS Students—an annual on-campus community event hosted by Dean Lisa Rosen-Metsch ‘90GS.

From there, the excitement moves uptown to the lively Columbia Homecoming Lunch! Grab a plate of delicious bites, sweet treats, and refreshing drinks while reconnecting with fellow Columbians. Challenge your crew to a game of cornhole or giant Jenga, swing by the new Beer Garden, and snag some exclusive GS swag to show off your Columbia pride.

Homecoming Weekend wouldn’t be complete without an afternoon football game! Join fellow alumni, students, and families to cheer on the Columbia Lions as they face Penn.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the spirit, pride, and community that make GS and Columbia special!
