MCAT Registration Schedule for January - June 2024 Dates

Beginning on Oct. 24 and 25, you can schedule your MCAT exam date for January - June. Registration opens for test centers in part of the United States and some international locations on Oct. 24 at 12 p.m. ET, and in all remaining test center locations on Oct. 25 at 12 p.m. ET.

Check out this page to view which locations open on each date to confirm which day you can schedule your exam: Registration Opening Dates

If you have received approved accommodations, please complete the five tabs in the MCAT Registrations System and then call Pearson VUE at 1-800-466-0450 now and select option 3 to submit your scheduling request. You do not need to wait until registration opens on Oct. 24 to submit your request. If you have not yet applied for accommodations, you can find more information here.

For examinees who are not ready to schedule an exam date, the MCAT Registration System will remain open for scheduling after Oct. 25.

Save Time Scheduling Your Exam

Fill out the first five tabs of information in the MCAT Registration System before opening day. It will save you about 5-10 minutes on opening day and will take you straight to scheduling when you log in.

What to Expect on Registration Opening Day

More examinees schedule an exam on the opening day than on any other day, especially in the first few hours. When the system first opens, you can expect a longer line with wait times of one hour or more. However, there is now a Queue-it waiting room that will hold your place in line, which includes an estimated wait time until it's your turn to schedule. This means you don't need to wait by your computer while you're in the waiting room.

Important Waiting Room Tips

Here are some tips to have a smoother waiting room experience:

  • There is no advantage to logging in to the registration system more than 10 minutes before noon ET on opening day. At 11:50 a.m. ET, the system will randomly assign anyone already logged in with a place in line to register.
  • Don't open multiple browsers or refresh your waiting room page. This will not give you an advantage, and may result in a longer wait time for you.
  • Don't share your waiting room Queue-it ID with others, as this can bump you out of the system, put you in the back of the waiting line, and cause scheduling today.
