Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as co-chairs of the GS Mentor Program in close collaboration with staff members from the GS Student Life office. Mentor Program co-chairs coordinate program advertising, mentor-mentee matching, event planning, and check ins/surveys with mentors and mentees throughout the semester
- Assist with event planning, event implementation, and event set up and break down—for both in-person events and online/Zoom events
- Assist in co-presentation of workshops and programs in strong collaboration with staff members from the office
- Participate in new student Meet & Greets as part of GS Planning Days during Academic Planning Sessions (APS) and Postbac Planning Sessions (PPS)
- Assist with operational and logistical support for programs and initiatives from GS Student Life, including ticket and promotional item distribution, as well as other office projects
- Serve as an ambassador for GS Student Life by promoting initiatives and events to the GS community via social media and other outreach
Requirements
Time Commitment
8–12 hours per week from September 2022–May 2023 (between 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with some evening hours to help staff events)
Compensation
$15/hour (casual)
