Alumni participated in a professional panel on careers in nonprofits at Dinner & Discussion this month. Twenty-five GS students attended the event in the GS Lounge to learn more about the different facets of the nonprofit industry and to network with alumni speakers such as Mason Beard ’04GS, ’09BUS, Jesse Dean ’08, Helena Grönberg ’07, and Laurie Parise ’92.
During the first hour, alumni shared great insights about their professional experiences and tips for how to gain experience in the field while a student. A light dinner was served and students had an opportunity to speak individually with the alumni on the panel.
