Alumna Publishes "Gravity In Art"

The book, containing 26 essays, was inspired by the ideas of the late Howard McParlin Davis, who taught in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University for many years. It focuses on interpretations of the physical phenomena of gravity and levity in various examples of Western art from the Roman period to the present day.
