Two Dual BA Students Awarded Fulbright U.S. Student Grants for 2026 - 2027

Cassidy Murray ’26GS and Ruby Topalian ’26GS, graduates from the Dual BA program between Columbia University and Trinity College Dublin have been awarded Fulbright U.S. Student Grants for 2026-2027.

Two students in the Dual Ba Program between Trinity College Dublin and Columbia University, Cassidy Murray ’26GS and Ruby Topalian ’26GS, have been awarded the prestigious Fulbright U.S Student Grant for 2026-2027. 

Murray, who graduated with a degree in Political Science and Middle Eastern and European Languages and Cultures, hopes to contribute to a school community through the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in the Palestinian Territories, while gaining practical experience to support her long-term commitment to human rights and public service.

Toaplian will undertake the Fulbright Young Professional Journalist Scholarship in Munich, Germany where she will research hate crime networks targeting German journalists who cover the Middle East, continuing in her pursuit of investigative reporting in which she has already exposed issues including the Oklahoma prison extortion scheme.
