GS Student Life invites students to apply to serve as Orientation Leaders for the Spring 2025 New Student Orientation Program (NSOP).

The Bancroft Research Scholars Program aims to provide GS students with the opportunity and funding to participate in undergraduate research during the regular school year.

GS students are invited to enter a lottery to engage with interim President Armstrong while exploring the benefits of animal therapy on mental health, and learn about additional campus resources designed to support student well-being. The Tamer Fund for Social Ventures (TFSV) provides seed grants of up to $25,000 to nonprofit, for-profit, and hybrid early-stage Columbia University-affiliated social and environmental ventures. Funding will be made available to around seven ventures each year (three to four ventures each cycle).

The School of General Studies offers limited scholarships for Postbac Premed students who are planning to enroll in their orgo/bio year and will be registered for at least six points each semester.

GS Undergraduate and Postbac Premed students are invited to join fellow students and GS alumni for the largest student/alumni event of the year, Friday, May 31 through Saturday, June 1.
