The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year. The program will run from October 26 through December 18, 2026.
CSTEP is open to undergraduate students at Columbia University and Columbia-affiliated schools who are interested in STEM fields and careers. Participants gain access to academic support, professional development, career-readiness programming, and opportunities designed to prepare students for graduate and professional school.
New this year: CSTEP students will also receive free access to Kaplan resources, including expert-led preparation for the MCAT®, GRE®, LSAT®, GMAT®, and NCLEX-RN®, as well as professional-development courses and certifications in areas such as Python, engineering, critical thinking, real estate licensure, and other STEM and career-focused skills.
The application deadline is September 15, 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so interested students are encouraged to apply early. The deadline may be extended depending on available space and enrollment.
