Join Us: Columbia Reunion Weekend in New York City

The Columbia University School of General Studies welcomes alumni, current students, family members, and friends of the School to join us on the Morningside Campus in early June for the largest alumni event of the year! Enjoy conversations, updates, and performances that are open to all.

Columbia GS has long been home to an expansive community of professional and retired dancers from all walks of life. In celebration of International Dance Day on April 29, we’re putting some of the wonderful dancers who have graced Columbia’s campus center stage!

This year’s speaker representing the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 is Alison (Ali) Block. The honoree was selected by a special committee to address their peers at the 2022 GS Class Day ceremony, speaking to the unique experiences that the Classes of 2020 and 2021 shared as they worked to overcome the challenges of finding success and graduating during the pandemic.

Today, President Lee C. Bollinger announced GS alumna Keren Yarhi-Milo '03 as the next dean of the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, a message that was shared with the GS community by Dean Lisa Rosen-Metsch.
