The Center for Career Education is pleased to invite you to the Spring 2023 Tech Connect!
The fair will include organizations from the engineering industries and is open to undergraduates and alumni enrolled in the schools served by the Center for Career Education.
We welcome students who are interested in internships as well as full-time opportunities. It is a unique and productive way to meet employers looking to hire students and alumni from Columbia University.

Time: 4pm- 7pm
Location: Faculty House, Presidential Ballroom, 3rd Floor
Note: Business Casual Attire is recommended but not required.
This event is open to undergraduate students and alumni of the following Columbia University schools:
- Columbia College
- Columbia Engineering- Undergrad
- School of General Studies
- Barnard College
This is a resume-free zone! The focus should be on meaningful conversations about the work and life at the companies represented. Seek answers that you won’t be able to find on the internet! Employers will have access to available student resumes through LionSHARE.
Tech Connect 2023 will have two parts.
Part 1: I'm an Engineer- Ask Me Anything!
This is an opportunity to hear directly from industry professionals and ask them anything about their backgrounds, careers, goals, and more! Want to know how they got to the positions they're in? What it's really like going through the interview process? How to make yourself stand out to recruiters? Students should submit their questions in advance through event registration.
Part 2: Roundtable discussion
Each registered company will sit at a round table. Students will be invited to join the company representatives at their table for discussion. The employers present will be eager to discuss with you their work, team projects, achievements and challenges, their career trajectory, and the culture of the company.
