Columbia is one of the world’s leading research universities, offering undergraduates the chance to participate in innovative, hands-on research across disciplines. No prior research experience is required—curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to explore are what matter most.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the value of undergraduate research and walk you through practical steps to get started. Topics will include identifying and refining your research interests, reaching out to faculty mentors, and navigating key research resources available to GS students, including summer research funding opportunities.
This workshop is open to GS students from all years and academic backgrounds.
A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants prior to the event. The session will be recorded and a recording link will be shared with all registrants afterward.
