What does “research” mean outside of the lab? In the Humanities and Social Sciences (H&SS), inquiry takes many forms — from archival work and textual analysis to ethnography and critical theory.
This workshop will explore what it means to conduct H&SS research and how to develop strong, original projects in these fields. You’ll also hear from a group of GS students who have conducted or are currently conducting H&SS research as they share their experiences and advice.
Whether you’re new to research or planning your next project, this session will help you understand how discovery happens in the humanities and social sciences.
GS students from all years are encouraged to attend. Registration is required. A Zoom link will be sent to all registrants before the event.
