Resilience, Reflection, and Healing: Remembering George Floyd

May 25, 2021
4:00 PM - 5:15 PM
Online Event

As we approach the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder and process what this past year has meant for communities of color, we invite you to join us in a Narrative Medicine workshop on May 25 from 4:00-5:15 p.m. ET. We hope to provide a space to center our experiences and focus on self-care and healing through stories and reflections. Facilitators will use storytelling and radical listening to create a safe space for BI&PoC students to absorb, reflect, and recognize the impact of this past year. Register to attend the workshop.

The workshop will be centered around the connection between narrative, health, and social justice and provide an opportunity for students to be heard, deepen their understanding of themselves and others, and support one another.  Although this space centers BI&PoC student experiences, all members of the Columbia community are welcome to join.
