Columbia is one of the world’s premier research universities, offering undergraduates the opportunity to actively engage in groundbreaking research across campus. Your prior experience matters less than your enthusiasm and willingness to dive in!
Join us for this workshop as we explore the many benefits of participating in research. You'll discover how research can help you delve into your intellectual interests, push the boundaries of knowledge within your field, enhance your problem-solving skills, foster meaningful connections with faculty, and prepare for future educational and career opportunities.
We’ll guide you through the process of identifying your research interests, reaching out to potential mentors, and navigating the many research resources available to you, including summer research opportunities. Additionally, a panel of GS student researchers will join us to share their experiences and insights.
This workshop is open to GS students of all years. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1–2 hours before the event begins. The session will be recorded, and the recording link will be shared with all registrants after the event.
