Join GS Student Life for a series of talkback discussions on movies that have shed light on various social justice and identity topics. During this session, students will discuss key elements in the movie American Son with Dean of Students, Marlyn Delva. American Son is a film based on the Broadway play of the same name. The film tells the story of an estranged couple who reunites in a Florida Police station to find their son who has gone missing after an encounter with the police. To participate, students must watch the selected movie prior to the discussion. The Zoom link to participate will be emailed to registrants 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
