Lunch & Learn with George Beane ‘68GS, ‘72LAW: Shaping NYC Through Business, Advocacy, and Real Estate

Join us for  Lunch & Learn with George Beane '68GS, ’72LAW, president of A.R. Walker & Company ,as he shares insights from a remarkable career in New York City real estate and urban development.

From his early days chauffeuring visitors during the 1964 World’s Fair to building and managing properties on the Upper West Side, Beane offers a unique perspective on how the city has evolved over time. Drawing on decades of experience in business and nonprofit leadership, he will discuss career pathways, lessons learned, and the realities of shaping and working within New York’s dynamic urban landscape.

An avid cyclist, Beane continues to bike throughout the city and has been an advocate for safer, more accessible streets through his longtime involvement with transportation alternatives, helping to make New York more bike-friendly for all.
