Online Event Zoom details will be provided after registration

The Patient Advocacy Volunteer Program in Emergency Room Services (PAVERS) at NYU/Bellevue Hospital is a patient advocacy volunteer program that offers premed students the opportunity to engage with patients and gain insights into medicine through observation in the emergency department (ED), participation in approved structured tasks, and attendance at a series of monthly lectures. Participants will have the chance to rotate through various clinical areas of the ED at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, including adult emergency services, pediatric emergency services, and urgent care. During these rotations, participants will provide assistance to patients, as well as collaborate with NYU Langone and Bellevue physicians, nurses, and staff.

The program's primary focus is patient advocacy, and participants should anticipate dedicating the majority of their time to interacting with and providing support to patients.

A link will be sent out after the registration period closes.
