America/New_York
Online Event

Join Dean Rosen-Metsch '90GS and Jeffrey Patrick '13GS in a conversation about contact tracing in New York during the coronavirus pandemic.

GSAA Third Thursdays is a new intellectual event series hosted by the General Studies Alumni Association. On the third Thursday of each month, we spotlight an alum or faculty member who is doing interesting and inspiring work in their field. This event series is open to all alumni and students.

This month we host Jeffrey Omar Patrick '13GS, who graduated with an MPH in Health Policy and Management from School of Health Sciences and Practices in 2020. He currently works in the School of Medicine at NYMC and as the Public Health Advisor (II) for the NYC Health + Hospitals, and has been an active participant in the Covid-19 contact tracing system in New York City. Join him and Dean Lisa Rosen-Metsch '90GS in this intimate conversation as they discuss the successes and challenges of contact tracing and what's next to come.
