GS students are invited to attend an off-campus excursion to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, the area's largest and most popular theme park featuring dozens of thrill rides, shows, children's rides, record-breaking roller coasters, and other activities. Tickets will go on sale at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, April 11. Tickets are $17 each. Food and beverages will be available at the park for purchase. Round trip transportation will be provided with the bus departing from 117th Street and Broadway. To purchase tickets please visit Eventbrite. GS Student Life Subsidized Tickets
The GS Student Life Office provides the opportunity for GS students to request subsidized tickets to events throughout the school year, sponsored by both recognized Student Groups and the Student Life office, in order support those with financial need. Applicants seeking a subsidized ticket may either be a current full-time or part-time GS student. All requests will be reviewed by GS Student Life staff members. Subsidized ticket requests for this event are due by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6. Students will be notified by 3 p.m. on Friday, April 8 if they were selected for a subsidized ticket. Students selected for a subsidized ticket will receive 1 ticket free of charge and will have until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 to claim their ticket. If a ticket is not claimed, it will be released. Please note, you should only submit ONE ticket request (multiple requests will not be accepted, nor will requests be accepted if you have already purchased a full-priced ticket).
