Cole Wagner ’22GS
Co-Chair, GSAA Programming Committee Member

Cole Wagner ’22GS graduated with a BA in Architectural History and Theory and a concentration in medieval studies. He was born in Tokyo and raised in Westchester County, NY, where he was trained as a classical cellist. After spending a number of years performing, teaching, and learning at institutions that include El Sistema, The Latin American Cultural Council, Radio City Music Hall, and Juilliard, he decided to leave the classical music world and begin his undergraduate education at GS in 2016. During his time at GS, Cole also worked as a Research Assistant to Prof. Barry Bergdoll, Chair of the Art History and Archaeology Department 21-22, and worked as a off campus contract administrator for Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Cole also has a Master of Science in Project and Enterprise Management from UCL Bartlett.

Robert Wagner '97GS
Managing Director of the New Products Group at Broadway Capital

Robert Wagner '97GS is the Managing Director of the New Products Group at Broadway Capital, where he leads a team in engineering bespoke financial instruments for complex global mandates. A graduate of the School of General Studies with a degree in art history, Robert’s career is defined by a rare duality: the mathematical rigor of Wall Street fixed-income engineering and the hands-on operational reality of large-scale real estate development. From revitalizing the iconic Empire Hotel to structuring sophisticated $350M+ private placements, Robert has spent over three decades solving structural bottlenecks in the capital markets. He remains a "builder" at heart, dedicated to the satisfying process of turning esoteric visions into bankable institutional realities.
