Josh Kraus is a partner at a law firm, where he advises businesses on technology transactions, intellectual property, and general corporate matters. Josh has extensive experience in complex outsourcing projects, data security and privacy, corporate acquisitions, and developing in-house compliance and training programs. He was previously VP Legal Affairs at Bertelsmann, Inc., and a corporate attorney at Loeb & Loeb LLP. Josh has served as a GSAA Board member for several years, having stepped into the Board co-chair role after serving a full term as co-chair of the GSAA Awards Committee. 

Moderated By: Dongjae (Jay) Min '23GS, '28LAW is from Seoul, South Korea, where he spent the majority of his childhood in the UAE and Tunisia before entering the Sciences Po-Columbia Dual BA Program. He graduated cum laude from Sciences Po (Menton campus) and magna cum laude from Columbia in 2023 with a BA in economics from both universities. In Sciences Po, he led student volunteers in the local refugee camp and coordinated various events as an executive member of the Students Bureau. In Columbia, he was a staff editor for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review and the Office Director for the New York chapter of the Small Claims Advisory Service. He served in the South Korean Army as an artilleryman for two years between sophomore and junior years. After graduation, Jay worked as a Corporate Paralegal in the New York law firm Debevoise Plimpton LLP assisting in the formation and operation of some of the world's most prestigious private equity funds. This inspired Jay to pursue a career in law as well, specializing in regulatory compliance. He is currently a 1L in Columbia Law School.
