In observance of National Delirium Awareness Day, Katherine Reina, DNP, APRN, Clinical Program manager of the Delirium Program at Mount Sinai Morningside, will be presenting a Nursing Grand Rounds on the topic of Delirium, an area of patient care in which premeds frequently play a therapeutic role. She will review the diagnosis of delirium, its clinical implications for patients and their families, and Mount Sinai's program for treating it. This is a rare opportunity to learn about this important topic--and also about hospital in-service instruction, a vital conduit of continuous medical education.
The Zoom link will be provided to students who register for the event with Mount Sinai. Interested students should email Andrew Sunshine ([email protected]) by Wednesday, March 16, 5 pm for registration instructions.
