Dr. Nita Vangeepuram, a physician-researcher and Director of the Student Research Assistant (SRA) Program in Child Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will discuss opportunities for Postbac Premed students to participate in child health–related research across the translational spectrum—from basic science investigations to clinical observational and therapeutic trials, as well as population-based epidemiological studies. She will also outline the program’s requirements, eligibility criteria, application process, and timeline for the 2026 SRAs.
