Dr. Nita Vangeepuram, a physician-researcher and Director of the Student Research Assistant (SRA) Program in Child Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will discuss opportunities for Postbac Premed students to engage in child health-related research studies across the translational spectrum—from basic science investigations to clinical observational and therapeutic trials, as well as population-based epidemiological studies. She will also explain the requirements, application process, and timeline for the 2025 SRAs. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from recent Student Research Associates about their experiences in the program.
