Each year, more than 50,000 individuals embark on the journey to medical school. But what are the rules of the road? How should applicants conduct themselves along the way? The expectations of medical schools are outlined in the AAMC's "traffic rules," and this session will provide an introduction to them.
The spring schedule is as follows:
III: The Price of Admission (February 12)
IV: Where to Apply? How to Decide? (February 26)
V: The External Application Process (March 12)
VI: "Tell Me About Yourself" (On Interviewing) (March 26)
VII: Traffic Rules (April 9)
VIII: Application Year Panel (TBD)
All sessions are held online from 10 – 11 a.m. on the dates indicated above.
The Application Launchpad Events Series is intended for GS premeds (postbacs and undergrads) who have recently submitted an internal application toward qualifying for committee support this summer for the Entering Class of 2026 (EC26). We hope these discussions of aspects of the application process help to inform individual consultations you may have with your advisor.
Registration Deadline: April 8 @ 5pm
