This session is designed to complement the upcoming MCAT panel, where students will hear from peers who have recently taken the exam. The MCAT Primer will provide essential information about the exam, including its content, format, duration, scoring, and overall purpose. Additional topics will include scheduling considerations, strategies for creating a study plan, available free and low-cost resources, the Fee Assistance Program, and exam accommodations.
The Application Launchpad series is intended for GS premeds, including postbacs and undergraduates, who are planning to apply to medical, dental, or veterinary school, whether as linkage candidates during the current academic year or as general applicants next summer. The series, which spans the fall and spring semesters, includes sessions devoted to what to do during the application year, deciding where to apply, the components of the formal application process, interviewing, and “Traffic Rules.” The final session in the series is our annual Application Year Panel.
