Skyler Calkins '24GS is pursuing her J.D. at Emory University School of Law. Before law school, Skyler managed high-stakes relationships with studios, financiers, and producers, and also supported the execution of film and television financing and production closings at Beverly Hills based entertainment law firm RAMO. Skyler earned bachelor’s degrees from Columbia University andTrinity College Dublin in film & media studies, with a special concentration in business management. Earlier in her career, Skyler worked on Cocaine Bear, coordinating inter-departmental efforts and managing on-set logistics to keep production on schedule.
Gloria Robberto '24GS graduated from the Dual BA Program between Trinity College Dublin (Middle Eastern and European languages and cultures) and Columbia (Middle Eastern studies). She is currently working at Cometa Formazione in Como, Italy on their programs centered around migrant minors. Her work involves second-generation children in primary school and adolescent unaccompanied minors.
Ashley Tan ’23GS, GSAA Outreach and Communications Committee Member is an Account Executive at BerlinRosen in New York City, where she works in public affairs and crisis communications. Her work focuses on advising C-suite executives, nonprofits, law firms, and higher education institutions on high-stakes reputational issues in an increasingly complex political and media landscape. At Columbia, Ashley founded Columbia Political Review's Policy 360, the university’s first foreign policy editorial roundtable. She also served as a peer tutor at the Writing Center, was a member of the GS Student Council, and contributed to the Columbia Daily Spectator as a columnist. Ashley graduated summa cum laude from the Dual BA program between Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris in 2023, where she studied political science and business management. Ashley was recently accepted to Harvard Law School and welcomes outreach from GS students navigating the law school application process.
Victor Trolet ’23GS is Chief of Staff at FRAME and lives in Los Angeles, CA. Before that, he spent three years at McKinsey & Company in New York City, part of the Apparel, Fashion & Luxury group. He spends his free time practicing film photography, running, and doing yoga. Victor is a French national.
Moderated by Evan Rork ’23GS, Co-Chair, GSAA Outreach and Communications Committee i is a graduate of the Columbia-Trinity Dual BA program from Nashville, Tennessee. On both of his campuses, he was deeply involved in student government addressing wide ranging issues from post-Covid learning to planning and managing catering for events. He is currently pursuing an Msc in Management Consultancy at the Smurfit Graduate School of Business in Dublin.
