Simba Kamuriwo

Biography

Dean Kamuriwo brings a wealth of experience in intercultural education and student development to the School of General Studies. Previously, as Assistant Director of Student Life at Paris College of Art, he led innovative initiatives that fostered cross-cultural dialogue, empowered student leaders, and supported students’ academic and personal journeys within an internationally diverse community.

With roots in Harare, Boston, Paris, and now New York, Dean Kamuriwo approaches advising with a nuanced understanding of global perspectives, guiding students across a range of programs as they navigate their academic and professional aspirations. His master's degrees in Choral Conducting (MMus) and Ethnomusicology (MA) reflect his belief in the transformative power of education to connect individuals, ideas, and cultures, empowering students to reach their fullest potential.
