This milestone recognizes all of the hard work and achievements you've made in your life thus far, and we are excited to welcome you into your next chapter as you pursue a future in medicine or other health professions.
Thank you for joining us on Admitted Students Day, where you will have the opportunity to explore all of the unique opportunities and resources available to you as a student in the Program. From 6 - 7 p.m. ET, we encourage you to participate in a variety of open sessions to ask questions and meet with academic advisors, financial aid counselors, current students, and more.
Open Sessions
To participate in today's event, please click on the icons below to join the corresponding meeting rooms over Zoom for the sessions that interest you the most. Each session will be conducted as an open Q&A, where you will have the opportunity to pose questions of your own. You may explore the sessions at your own pace, entering and exiting meeting rooms as many times as you like throughout the event until 7 p.m.
After Admitted Students Day
Newly admitted students to the Columbia University Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program must complete a series of steps to begin enrollment.
The Postbac Planning Session (PPS) provides a program overview, details about the curriculum and clinical and research opportunities, and information about medical school planning and preparation.
Following Admitted Students Day, attendees may schedule academic advising appointments upon submitting the Acceptance Reply Form and tuition deposit to begin planning for their first semester.

Medical School Fair
Each Spring, the Columbia University Premedical Association and Columbia University Postbac Premed Program host a medical school fair where students have the opportunity to meet and network with admissions and advising professionals from medical, dental, veterinary, and allied health graduate schools.
Linkage Programs
The Columbia University Postbac Premed Programs has a number of linkage agreements with top medical schools around the world. Highly-qualified students can apply to one of our 16 programs to accelerate their medical school admission.
Preparing for Medical School
Up to 90% of graduates from the Postbac Premed Program are accepted into top medical schools around the world. The School of General Studies provides a variety of resources that assist students in preparing for their futures in the medical field including academic support, research opportunities, letters of support, and more.
