Position Description
Advanced Eyecare of New York is seeking a Volunteer Ophthalmic Technician to obtain clinical experience in shadowing an Ophthalmologist. The successful applicant has the option of splitting their time between their Harlem Office and their Queens Village Office.
Responsibilities Include:
- Learning to check vision and visual field
- Performing autorefraction, fundus photography, and optical coherence topography
Position Requirements
- High school or college degree
- Interest in the health professions, specifically eyecare
Time Commitment
Part-time, with flexibility
