Position Description
The CUIMC Department of Surgery is seeking a social media coordinator. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating simple graphics
  • Crafting post threads
  • Distilling down medical information for the public
  • Interviewing surgeons, clinicians, researchers about conditions, treatments, and research

  • Serving as a social media liaison for CME events by working with panelists and live tweeting talks and seminars

Position Requirements

  • Social media and blog writing skills
  • Eye for graphics and crisp social media content
  • Knowledge of social trends and engagement practices is a plus

Time Commitment
Part-time, 4-8 hours per week, two academic semester commitment preferred.
