Position Description
The Laboratory of Dr. Allan Geilibter at St. Luke's Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a volunteer research assistant to help take part in obesity and eating disorder research. Volunteer research assistants will have the opportunity to publish research articles, perform poster presentations at conferences and become blood draw certified at Mount Sinai.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drawing and processing blood samples
- Conducting fMRI research in obesity.
- Taking part in a supermarket-based intervention for eating behavior and obesity
Position Requirements
- Juniors, seniors, postbacs, graduate students, young professionals are welcome.
Time Commitment
Part-time, 10-15 hours per week for two semesters. Preference will be given to applicants who continue into the summertime.
