Position Description
The Hospital for Special Surgery: Department of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery is looking for a research assistant to join their practice on a part-time basis. The position involves working closely with Dr. Sabrina Strickland and Dr. Andreas Gomoll who both specialize in Sports Medicine, specifically in patellofemoral disorders.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying and enrolling patients into studies over the phone, via email, or in-person
- Coordinating study visits
- Aiding in the creation and editing of research presentations
- Obtaining specimens from the operating room
- Maintaining accurate databases
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Clinical research experience a plus
Time Commitment
Part-time, two days per week through the end of the spring semester 2021
