Position Description
The Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking Spanish-speaking research assistants to support a multidisciplinary team of experts who use genetics, molecular biology, model systems, neuroimaging, and experimental therapeutics to personalize the optimal treatment plan for each patient.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with running patient visits
  • Processing data and data entry
  • Handling administrative duties such as participant recruitment and organization of study materials
  • Observing patient/doctor interactions (e.g., diagnostic assessments, intelligence testing)
  • Attending research conferences/seminars

Position Requirements

  • Minimum three months (typically a semester or a semester) of research experience
  • Completion of Abnormal Psychology and Statistics a plus

Time Commitment
Part-time (ten hours per week), with a minimum of one semester commitment. Preference for applicants able to commit to at least one year.
