Thank you for joining us on Admitted Students Day, where you will have the opportunity to explore all of the unique opportunities and resources available to you as a student at GS. From 6 - 7 p.m. ET, we encourage you to participate in a variety of open sessions to ask questions and meet with academic advisors, current students, alumni, and more.
Open Sessions
To participate in today's events, please click on the icons below to join the corresponding meeting rooms over Zoom for the sessions that interest you the most. Each session will be conducted as an open Q&A, where you will have the opportunity to pose questions of your own. You may explore the sessions at your own pace, entering and exiting meeting rooms as many times as you like throughout the event until 7 p.m. ET.
After Admitted Students Day
Newly admitted students to the Columbia University School of General Studies must complete a series of steps to begin enrollment.
During the Academic Planning Session (APS), students will receive an overview of the registration and advising process, general academic requirements, and relevant policies, as well as website links and resources needed to plan their academic schedules
Following Admitted Students Day, attendees may schedule academic advising appointments upon submitting the Acceptance Reply Form and tuition deposit to begin planning for their first semester.

Transfer Students
In recent years, more than 75 percent of students in our entering classes transferred credit to Columbia. As an incoming student, after you have received your award of transfer credit, you will work with your individual academic advisor to create a plan for success.
