Position Description
The Human Immune Monitoring Core (HIMC) at Columbia University is seeking a motivated and talented technician. The position involves advanced analyses of clinical trial samples and other specimens using cutting-edge cytometry by time-of-flight (CyTOF) technology, multiplexed imaging, and single-cell RNA sequencing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced cytometry instruments.
  • Preparing samples and reagents.
  • Assisting in innovative assay development and optimization.
  • Generating appropriate and timely invoices for users.
  • Processing data and assisting with data analysis.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, or math required.

Time Commitment
Must be able to commit to a minimum of two years.
