The Human Immune Monitoring Core (HIMC) at Columbia University is seeking a motivated and talented technician. The position involves advanced analyses of clinical trial samples and other specimens using cutting-edge cytometry by time-of-flight (CyTOF) technology, multiplexed imaging, and single-cell RNA sequencing.
Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced cytometry instruments.
Preparing samples and reagents.
Assisting in innovative assay development and optimization.
Generating appropriate and timely invoices for users.
Processing data and assisting with data analysis.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, or math required.
Must be able to commit to a minimum of two years.
