Position Description
The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a Technician B for the Racaniello laboratory.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the work on SARS-CoV-2, which includes genetic, biochemical and cell based studies for understanding multiple aspects of immune dysfunction associated with virus infection.
- Carrying out experiments in cell cultures
- Participating in the development of small animal models for studying multiple aspects of virus infection including the tissue-specific cellular immune response.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Prior experience working in a research lab environment studying immunology, molecular/cell biology, microbiology, or biochemistry
