Position Description:

The Department of Neurology at NYU Langone Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join its research team supporting the multiple sclerosis (MS) program. This full-time position offers the opportunity to coordinate cutting-edge clinical trials and observational studies in MS and related neurological disorders. The role involves patient-adjacent responsibilities during outpatient clinic visits and requires strong research, regulatory, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Administering and overseeing clinical trials and regulatory compliance

  2. Recruiting and consenting study participants

  3. Collecting data during patient visits and assisting in biospecimen collection

  4. Creating and managing research databases

  5. Supervising student interns

  6. Supporting manuscript and grant preparation

 

Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a science or healthcare-related field

  2. Prior experience in a clinical research coordinator role

  3. Demonstrated interest or experience in clinical research or patient care

Preferred:

  1. Experience with sponsored clinical trials

  2. Familiarity with IRB processes and regulatory documentation

  3. Strong data analysis and database management skills

  4. Excellent writing skills and an interest in academic publishing and grants

 

Time Commitment:

Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM)

 

Compensation:

$72,000 – $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience
