Position Description
The Cellular Immunotherapy Laboratory at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School is seeking a research technician. The laboratory focuses primarily on translational research projects in immunotherapy, where the major goal is to design and evaluate next-generation genetically-modified human T cells as therapeutic agents in cancer and other diseases.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining all data generated in a laboratory notebook.
- Analyzing data through a variety of computer programs (Excel, Prism, FlowJo).
- Assisting in preparing and editing manuscripts from data generated in research projects.
- Processing and culturing of human blood samples.
Position Requirements
- Become proficient in molecular biology and immunology techniques (cloning, PCR, western blot, cell culture, flow cytometry)
Time Commitment
Must be able to commit to a minimum of two years.
Compensation
TBD plus mentorship and preparation for medical or graduate school will be provided.
